Tupac said many things about rap, hip hop and the thug life

Code of Thug Life
“I didn’t create T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E., I diagnosed it.”
– Tupac Shakur.

In 1992 at the ‘Truc Picnic’ in Cali, Tupac was instrumental in getting rival gang members of the Crips and Bloods to sign the Code Of THUG LIFE. As history goes, he and Mutulu Shakur wrote the ‘code’ with the help of other ‘OGs’. Their bangin collaborative gave ballers and shot callers codes to live by. We true thugs clockers and bangers now classify that code, written in 1992 as The Old Testament Code of Thug Life.
Because the game has changed, in the summer of 2004, in Bedsty, OGs: Ak47, Sling Bling, Drive-by, Git Witcha and Lil Tupac decided it was time to amend the original code of THUG LIFE to fit with the new times. They crafted The New Testament Code of Thug Life
. These changes will help all hip hoppers, bangers, ballers, shot callers. pimps, playas, clockers, slangers and dope boys fulfill they dreams.
Some of the codes in the Old Testament were amended. Others such as: #9, #10, #14, 15, #16, #17, #18 #19 and #20 were deleted, because they was just repeats. Git these codes in yo spirit and let them guide yo azz. This is the thug bible.
